Sanjeev Kumar, PhD. Co-founder

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar is a co-founder of JinglePal. He has extensive experience in the field of intelligent agents, dialog semantics, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, unified communications, mobile applications, human computer interaction, and programming languages. 

 

Dr. Kumar received his M.S. and PhD in Computer Science from OHSU, USA and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India. Dr. Kumar has received several awards including the academic proficiency prize for the best undergraduate project at IIT Kanpur. He has worked as a staff scientist at the Center for Human-Computer Communication at OHSU. Prior to graduate studies, he worked for Infosys Technologies, Bangalore, India. More recently, he worked for over 3 years in the Voice Technology Group at Cisco Systems, Inc.

 

Dr. Kumar has 4 granted patents and more than 45 patents pending at the US Patent and Trademark Office and he has published more than a dozen scientific papers in peer-reviewed international conferences and journals.

Labhesh Patel, Co-founder

Mr. Labhesh Patel co-founded JinglePal. He is a veteran of the telephony industry with more than 35 granted patents and over 120 patents pending at the US Patents and Trademark Office. Prior to JinglePal, he worked at Cisco systems, Inc. where his primary responsibility was creating intellectual property in the field of unified communications and related areas. Mr. Patel is an avid enthusiast and self-taught expert in natural language understanding.

 

Mr. Patel received his MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, USA and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India. Prior to his graduate studies, Mr. Patel worked for Schlumberger and Marubeni corporations.
